ST. CLOUD, Minn.-- A crash involving a semi and a MnDOT truck
shutdown a portion of Interstate 94 south of St. Cloud Monday
afternoon. Traffic is now back to normal.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. near St. Augusta. The State Patrol
says a semi hauling grain hit a MnDOT truck which was involved in a
roadway patching project.
Fortunately, the drivers of both vehicles suffered only minor injuries.
Three MnDOT trucks were doing patchwork along the interstate, MnDOT spokesman Kent Barnard said. A semi passed the first truck, but struck the second one.
The MnDOT driver hit his head against the window. He felt fine but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The semi driver was also taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
